Eric Ndayishimiye nicknamed Bakame is the goal keeper of the Rayon Sports that was handled with the Peace Cup told media that he came to play as to showcase his commitment to his team and with deep willingness to win that match. The team leader Ndayishimiye said that he was  in hospital but at the time to play  with APR FC, he said he couldn’t miss out.

Before the match, rumors circulated over his absence in the match but surprisingly he managed to play despite his ‘unfavorable health state’.

The match that ended with the victory of Rayon  Sports of 1-0.

People said that he had some breathing challenges that could eventually hinder him from participating in the match.

He was in hospital on Sunday but on Monday he attended the most disputed match with its rival APR FC.

As the team leader he didn’t managed to her it winning for any cup since 2013, so he wanted to help it in such circumstances, he revealed to media.

For him the fact that his team won the match is  of great value as he proved his cause was of importance.

His medical assistant told Umuseke that the goal keeper took his decision to participate into the match and assist his co-players despite his health challenges.
