He was one of the most wanted 1994 Genocide perpetrators .His name is Mbanenande Stanislas .He is sentenced to life imprisonment for his role in 1994 genocide commission against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
This man was found guilty of having orchestrated the killings against the Tutsi in 1994 and having shot Tutsi during that time.
This man,54 years old, committed the genocide in the former Kibuye prefecture in Gitesi Commune as it was used to be called at that time .The killings took place between 6 ,April to 30 June 1994 in the area under his influence .
The Stockholm Court has convicted him after he was found guilty of massive killings committed in Gitesi. Despite his absence, he coped a similar conviction issued by Rwandan justice.
He was living in Sweden since 2008 with his family. He has been naturalized Swedish afterwards.The persecution and judgement hearings were undertaken in Kigali but followed by Swedish justice live through video conference technology.
Swedish judges came in Rwanda to carry out further investigation .His conviction comes in as he was under the international arrest warrants issued few years ago.
