The match between Rwandan U18 basketball team and Malian one ended with the victory of Mali with 61-40. At the beginning, Rwandan U18 basketball team won two matches with Gabon and Ivory Coast but Malians proved themselves stronger and skilled than Rwandans in the game.
Rwandan boys are playing in the group A of the FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship.
Ousmane Traore from Mali was the best scorer of from Malian side with 26 marks while Nshobozwabyosenumukiza from the Rwandan side proved to be the best scorer.
Even though the Rwandan team lost that match, its coach Mutokambali promised that his team will perform better in the upcoming matches.
He hopes to reach the semi-finals session of the match as Rwandan U18 Basketball team will be facing the Algerians in the next match.
