In the match that challenged Rayon Sports football club and Marines football club yesterday ended with three goals of Rayon Sports over zero for the Marines. The victory took Rayon Sports at the first ranking but provisionally.

The match took place at Kigali stadium located in Nyamirambo sector, Nyarugenge district.

The first goal was scored by Devis Kasirye who used the head as he received the ball from Manishimwe Djabel. It was at its 19th minute of the first half time.

Few minutes later Habarurema Christopher nicknamed Gahungu scored the second goal, making his eighty goal since the championship started.

At the 25th minute of the match, the Malian born striker Ismaila Diarra scored another goal and the first half time ended that way.

The second half players of the Marines team were eager to score at least one goal but the Rayon Sports’ defenders hindered them from doing so.

Itangishaka Blaise provided more efforts but the goalkeeper Bakame of the Rayon Sports was hard to defeat.

As the match ended, the coach of Rayon Sports Masudi Djuma told media that the yesterday’s victory was due to the fact that he used many experienced players who provided more efforts to strike and they won.

Rayon Sports is currently ranking number one at the provisional list with 35 marks while its rival APR FC comes second with 34 marks.
