The Rwandan Prime Minister Dr Edouard Ngirente has reminded the Rwandan youth their responsibility to develop their nation, adding that this can only be achieved if they are healthy.

PM Ngirente told the youth to avoid harmful behaviors

For them to materialize their dreams in the future it is imperative to avoid unsafe behavior that include pre-marriage and unprotected sexual relations.

He said that as he addressed 5 200 young people from the great lakes region countries who are adherents of the Catholic Church.

PM Ngirente told them that harmful behaviors including drug and alcohol abuse should be avoided for them to achieve desired dreams that are beneficial to their respective nations.

You are the hope of your nations. You make the great part of African population and are the active force for a positive transformation, he told them.

Dr Ngirente revealed that Rwandan youth is estimated to be 65% of the whole population, which makes it the biggest force to steadfastly develop their nation.

He added that Rwanda aspires to be a knowledge based economy and for this to be achieved, it has to have an educated and healthy youth.

PM Ngirente ended his inspiring speech by calling upon parents to keep being active and lovely exemplary parents to their children.
