NEC releases a preliminary list of legislative elections candidates

National Electoral Commission yesterday released a preliminary of candidates willing to compete for  seats in Rwandan parliament.They  have to compete for the legislative elections scheduled for September.

The List includes candidates from political parties legally recognized by the Constitution. Those come from political parties of which 50per cent are women, independent candidates, and special candidates such as ones representing people living with disabilities, youth and women.

Apart from the RPF led coalition PL,PSD and PS Imberakuri led by Mukabunani Christine.The Imberakuri of Ntaganda did not present its candidates because not recognized. The Green Party ,a newly recognized political party did not present its candidates due to the delay it registered.
