In accordance with the world health organization Rwandan Ministry of health has banned the selling, buying and smoking of the Shisha in Rwandan soil. The Ministry twitted that the ban aims at protecting Rwandans from falling sick of lung cancers and other respiratory infections.

The notice is effective from this Friday, 15, December, 2017.

The water-pipe tobacco popularly known as Shisha was mostly smoked into bars of Kigali and in other main cities of Rwanda.

Failure to comply with the Ministry’s notice, sanction as provided by the law will be applied, the notice ends saying.
