The trip took place in Gisenyi area that nears the Democratic Republic of the Congo border through Kivu lake.

As one heads to Gisenyi he/she explores different hilly areas of Rwanda. The areas feature swamps of rice plantations, views of volcanoes among other natural areas.

The Kivu lake is another natural wonder that visitors can’t withhold the eyesight from looking at. At the lake, visitors can swim, enjoy fresh air, among other available touristic privileges.

Gisenyi city itself is full of mind refreshing opportunities including hotels, restaurants, nigh clubs among other issues.

Fresh soft or alcoholic drinks are also available at an affordable price.

Gisenyi has different football playgrounds and locally based football teams namely Marines FC and Etincelles FC.

The area has also different schools namely primary and secondary ones .
