IPAR-Rwanda (The Institute of Policy Analysis and Research) gathered different researchers in Umubano hotel to present research results on Rwandan Policy making strategies in recent years.

In their third annual Research conference, researchers and state stakeholders assessed policy making strategies used in different areas of national policy making such as in economics and development concerning the attainment of the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals).

Among the strategies to foster the economic growth, research has shown that bank savings can lead to lead to wide investment that provides people with jobs.

Research has also shown that savings can foster the EDPRS-2 attainment thus to reduce the rate of poverty.

Emmanuel MUNYEMANA is one of these researchers, who conducted a research about the growth of economy in twelve past years.

Highlighting the importance of this research, Mr Munyemana Emmanuel said this research embodies different insightful statistics that can help officials take adequate measures in different areas

IPAR’s representative in this meeting Mr. Marc CYUBAHIRO BAGABE, thanked   the hard working spirit of those researchers adding that it will be helpful to the implementation of other Rwandan government policies.

“Research gives you knowledge” he said.

This two days long meeting will conclude today  on 14, November, 2013.As the meeting ends , participants told UM– USEKE that they are now eager to apply what they have been learning so far.
