After that a comic show “Débarquement ” was broadcasted, where some of the guests said that the genocide against the Tutsi was not effective enough, the Ibuka-France, an umbrella organisation advocating for the rights of the genocide survivors stated its indignation about these words, comparing this French radio to RTLM, a deadly radio that brazed the hate of extremists Hutu against the Tutsi in 1994.
The Ibuka- France wrote a letter to a French audio-visual regulation authority (Conséil Supérieur de l’audio-visuel) as to communicate the issue and express its flounce about it.
The invited comedians uttered so called comics saying that the way Tutsi were massacred was not as effective as it should because some of the Tutsi are still alive and comfortable, said the French comedians.
Ibuka- France said that these kind of utterances do not differ from what was spoken by RTLM radio presenters where they encouraged the extremists Hutu to kill all the Tutsi comparing them to cockroaches.
Consequently, the Ibuka France yearns the Conséil Supérieur de l’audio-visuel to present its apologies and take adequate measures against the presenters of the show.
Recently Ibuka-France has warned the Minister of education about the current education curriculum from which some of its chapters contain teachings according to which the Tutsi are the ones who massacred the Hutu.
This Canal + show called “Débarquement” is its most expensive and demanding show that takes seven months to get prepared and and it takes 200 persons to prepare the show twice a year.
RTLM (Radio Télévision des Milles Collines) was a radio station used by the government of Abatabazi used during the Genocide to increase the hatred of extremists Hutu against the Tutsi few months before and during the genocide against the Tutsi 199.
