He was the General Persecutor in Kigali before the genocide .He is back home to live in his Motherland as any other Rwandan. He exiled in Swaziland in 1995.He told journalists that he remained there for long time due to rumors that certain refugees propagated in the refugee camps.

He said that the refugee life is the hardest one and that due to his late age he chose to pass his years in Rwanda.

He was motivated by the fact the new Minister in charge of refuges was a refugee too but came back home and occupies such a high post. This pushed him to come back home hoping a fair treatment.

He revealed to journalists that in Swaziland refugees are choosing to live in the country instead of coming back home to build a prosperous Rwandan nation.. Swazi authorities assure Rwandan refugees a calm refugee situation where none will force them to come back home unwillingly.

He left his family in Swaziland because ,as he says, it is wise to come early to assess the situation before bringing a large family as his own.

He affirms that after certain time, he will take them back home to enjoy the peaceful living conditions in Rwanda. His wife Landrada Mukayiranga who occupied different posts in the former Rwandan government will be back as well as Stanislas.

Ntamushobora Dansilla ,sister of Stanislas told Umuseke that it a big pleasure for her to see her brother back so to talk to  him openly while before it was very hard to talk to him .

He carried out his activities for 15 years long among which he occupied the Ministry of Justice for one year while the rest of the time he was the General persecutor in Kigali neighborhood  .

After the genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 ,he fled to Zaire of the epoch where he left towards Kenya. From Kenya he took the journey towards Swaziland. He lived in Swaziland for 15 years long.

In Swaziland he faced challenges relating to employment .The Swazi government suspected him to have committed Genocide or other serious crimes against humanity in Rwanda but the ICTR responded to Swazi government that Harerimana is innocent, that he can be considered as fairly as any other person should be.

He is very proud to come back home in Rwanda feeling clean to have not given crime against someone.

At Kanombe Airport he was surprised to find a clean and committed youth to work calmly.
