Until yesterday, his body was still missing despite joint efforts of both civil and police entities to find it. The Headmaster of the school Theophile Gatera told our reporter that they heard about that bad news few minutes after the incident and were grieved accordingly.

He revealed that students were in the school at the launch time but after they took it, they went to swim in that water reserve.

After a while, the Turikumwe’s friends missed him and started calling for a help and people came to search for the dead body but in vain.

One of the locals told Umuseke that in the afternoon hours, many locals came to swim in the water of that water reserve.

He further told us that the this reserve has killed a relatively big number of locals due to a lack of attention of the security keeper in charge of hindering locals from approaching it and swim.

The dead one was originating from Ruhango sector in Ruhango district, South Province.
