This has been one of important declaration between the District officials and its partners in development. During an meeting held at Gasabo District Office in Kigali.
Gasabo Disctrict is located in Kigali and comprises both urban and rural neighborhoods. Among remote rural areas r=to gain from these initiatives involve Bumbogo,Nduba,Ndera,Rutunga and Gikomero. They suffer a lot from a serious lack of road networks, water sanitation and so on so forth.
Alfred Munyantwali ,the President of the Executive Council in Gasabo District explains that the budget set for these projects will be invested in different projects of common interest throughout the remote areas of the District.
“We intend to create different infrastructures in order to get Gasabo inhabitants from remote areas to come closer to ones living in urban areas” Mr Munyentwali uttered.
He told Umuseke that the portion reserved for the implementation of these projects are worthy 6.668.250.928 Billion Rwandan Francs. Local population has played a crucial role in the choice of pressing projects to invest in at first.
At that budget, One billion is meant to be invested into building road networks, electric power discrimination and creating opportunities and environment for job creation and self employments.
Munyentwali assured the gathering that the budget will be utilized very effectively and thanked employees who effectively managed the budget at the rate of 90% of the total budget schedule.
