Ambassador Pan was welcomed by the Prime Minister Anastase Murekezi in his office this Wednesday evening hours.

The Sino-Rwanda relations have been nurtured since many years ago and the new ambassador of China Pan Hejun promises to keep it smooth and lasting between both nations.

He revealed that China is willing to help Rwanda benefit from the ten big projects that his nation dedicated to Africa and hopes that Rwanda will gain from that unique opportunity.

The promise of China to Africa was made by Chinese President XiJinping during the China-Africa Summit held in South Africa last year.

Amb Pan told media that some of the preliminaries to start the construction of the complex that will host diverse ministries have been undertaken so far.

China will also help Rwanda innovate some of its referral hospitals such as the one of Masaka and equip it with both buildings and infrastructures to become a teaching hospital at the University level.

He hopes that both sides(Rwanda and China) will finalize the preliminaries to start all agreed upon projects not later than in October this  year.

The director in the Prime Minister’s Office Ms Kampeta Pitchette Sayinzoga told Umuseke that both sides are working together to stand strong against the current international economic crisis that affects both nations as well.

She said that Rwanda wishes that all projects should start being implemented alongside the coming budgetary year 2016/2017.
