During the first half time of the game, no team has shown a significant offensive game. But before it ends, the AS Kigali strikers Mbaraga Jimmy, Mwizerwa Amin and Mico Justin tried to score but in vain.

Mico Justin from the AS Kigali prayed well until the end of the game. Unfortunately,  Bodo Ndikumana did not pray due to the leg injuries he is enduring up to now.

During the second half of the game both teams were eager to score. The AS Kigali goal keeper broke heavy shots from the Morroco strikers but he was handed with a yellow card which hinders him from praying the next game.

Niyonzima Jean Paul is the one who scored the only goal of the AS Kigali.

The head coach of the AS Kigali, Casambungo highlighted the efforts of his team and is hopeful to win over the Morroco team  during the coming game even though the team will be missing three players   Bodo, Emery and  Medi.

The Morocco team manager did not talk to the press and left the play ground soon after the end of the game.

Minister of Sports and culture Protais Mitali lauded the efforts of the AS Kigali team crew. He said that this victory comes from the discipline of both players and the team manager.

The Kigali City authority promised a package of $1000 to the team and each player has been handled with $200 after the game to recognize their efforts.
