After winning over the Police FC with 2 – 1, APR FC became the champion of the Prudence Championship and was awarded with three million Rwandan francs. Before the final game, AS Kigali and Rayon Sports played for the third place but both equalized with 1-1.
In the match that opposed APR FC and Police FC, the first half ended with 0-0 even though both teams were eager to score before it ended. After the APR FC coach changed the players, Djamal Mwiseneza replacing Sekamana Maxime , the black and white team scored the first goal marked by Hegman Ngomirakiza.
The Police’s coach Casa Mbungo Andre displayed his discomfort about how the referee was managing the match.
Two minutes later, the APR scored a second goal by Jean Claude Iranzi with a huge and speedy shot that bypassed the goalkeeper.
Few minutes before the match ended, Jacques Tuyisenge from Police FC has scored the only goal that his team managed to obtain.
