The yesterday’s Institute of Legal Practice and Development held a graduation ceremony and among the graduates included ACP Badege, Hon Mukantabana, Hon Mukabagwiza. These high ranking officials attended the institute to sharpen their minds in the legal issues that normally are part of their daily responsibilities.

Minister of Justice Johnson Busingye who presided the ceremony urged the graduates to increase their professionalism and provide justice to all Rwandans.

The graduates expressed their joyful feelings about the knowledge they earned from the institute and promised to use it in delivering quality services to Rwandans searching for justice.

According to Minister Busingye, the Institute was inaugurate in 2006 and has contributed to the improvement of juridical system in Rwanda since then.

After the genocide against the Tutsi, the justice system suffered from the loss of personnel. The officials who graduated promised to utilize it in delivering quality services.

According to Busingye, the Institute has increased the pride of justice practitioners in Rwanda after the genocide.

Min Busingye urged the graduates to be more professional as currently the international community has more confidence on Rwandan justice and extradite some of the suspects to be tried in Rwanda.

He pointed out that the good image that Rwandan justice holds should be sustained at the international scene.

The most influential graduates include Odda Mukabagwiza who is the chief of the Labor Commission, Hon Mukantabana, and ACP Badege from the RNP‘s Criminal Investigation Department .
